Practice Policy:

24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. Failed appointments are charged at the rate of £30.00 per half hour for independent/private treatments.

Patients who habitually miss, cancel appointments with less than 24 hours notice or arrive late would risk being removed from our patients list. This behaviour would result in us not being able to provide an appointment for someone who really needs it!

We have a zero tolerance policy regarding any abuse or bad attitude towards our staff or dentists or other patients of the surgery. This will result in immediate removal of the patient from our lists and will be reported to Primary Care Trust and Police.

Same day cancellation or cancellation without 24 hours notice of hygienist appointment carries a charge of £20.
